The School Day

Main school hours are from 8:40am-3:10pm
Nursery hours are from 8:30am-3:00pm

Nursery Children:

Please use the entrance at the Nursery, doors open 8:30am . At the end of the school day children can be collected at 3:00pm.

Reception children:
There are three gates on the outside area, these are shown with a sign with their animal name and a picture. The teachers will be on these gates at 8:35am to welcome your child. They will then be greeted by the teaching assistant when they get to their classroom door.

Year 1 Children:
Badgers will access their classroom through the door on the map which is the same location as pick up.
Squirrels and Owls access and leave via the owls door shown on the map. Please help us with drop off and collection and line up along the sides of the building. At dismissal time children will remain in their seats and will be called by their teacher to the door, this is to ensure their safety and alleviate traffic on the doors.

Year 2 Children:
Hares will access their classroom through the door they use for dismissal which is shared with the Badgers class.
Hedgehogs access and depart from their classroom door.
Foxes will access school via the gate they have been departing from. The class teacher will be on the gate in the mornings and there will be TA support in the classroom.

All entrances to classes will have a teacher present at 8:35am - this will also help with parents going to St Peters too.

Please note:
  • Doors open at 8:35am
  • Doors close at 8:45am
  • Registers close by 9:00am

Collection in the afternoon arrangements:
All children will be collected in the same locations as the drop off above. Teachers will ensure direct handovers to parents/carers unless a prearranged collection has been arranged.
Children involved in after school clubs will be collected from their classrooms by the club coordinators.

Please note:
  • Doors open at 3:10pm
